What’s the best way to recruit more reps in your business? How can you attract more people to your look at what you have to offer?
It’s common knowledge that people would like to make more money either from their job or from working at home. And that many would like to have a business of their own but don’t know how to start or expand. And no one want to be labeled as failing in their home based business. So how does this have a great advantage to you and your opportunity?
What is the answer for your business and your marketing?
It seems at almost every major conference, there are several luminary, several “expert” speaker, who will tell you how they began. How they started and where they are now. These experts will talk about focusing on your business. Never quit and motivate you.
At these events you will be inspired to build your business. Now why do they have different expert speakers? You will identify with some and maybe not with another. I have one lady that will talk but I really don’t listen. Why? I don’t identify with her. However, when another presenter talks and may say the very same thing, I get a lot of information.
It’s about communications.
I’m going to go with really bad, actually potentially fatal action to your business…
When a new distributor or affiliate partner signs up with you, thank them. Then leave them alone. If they call tell them you will call back..maybe. If they have a problem tell them to figure it out…it’s great learning to do it on their own. If your new distributor is working online and needs advice, tell them to GOOGLE for the answers. When a new product or new business procedure comes out, eMail your distributor, don’t talk to them. Questions on how to market or sell the opportunity, have them look in the “new distributor” manual for the answer. If they happen to catch you off guard and you actually answer the phone, give them a quick answer, no details to their question and say, “I’m really busy gota go”, and hang up.
Sounds lutenist right! But unfortunately it happens and it happens every day. This is why so many people fail or look for a new opportunity. FATAL ACTION ON YOUR PART.
This new distributor is a “diamond in the ruff”. They need you or they need help from your upline. If you spend time with your new distributor, polish, buff, and cut them out to be successful you have a beautiful stone (distributor) who will go on and start his or her search for their “diamond in the ruff”. Spend time now, such a bird spends time with her chick, so that they can take flight and start a new family.
Most importantly, educate your new distributor on the fundamentals. Help them understand it’s common to have question. Help them to understand that frustration will set in. Help them to understand that as in any business there will be ups and downs, disappointments and unbelievable success. And with the new online, social media, Youtube and other technology, they can expand their home based business worldwide, live better, enjoy a stress free life, gain financial freedom and they can do this without looking like a dweeb.
Finally, plug them into a coaching or training program that will take the pressure off of you and almost guarantee their success. Then teach them how they can also plug their new person into the same coaching program for their success.
This is a win-win situation for you and for your new distributor.
