It is crucial to have an email database that is constantly being used and updated.  The life blood of any business, new or old is the customers.  Build your database is important to long term success with you home based business or any business that rely s selling on the Internet.  If you want to do well at multi-level marketing, affiliate marketing or blogging, capture your customers email or at the least anyone who visits your blog or website ask for their email address to receive something for free.

A common phrase in marketing is, “the money is in the list”.  So True!

It does not matter if you buy the lists or if you create one based off of information from your site, a lengthy list is essential to the success of your business.

Be the leader of your MLM business.  People like to follow leaders. You may not feel like a leader today, but over time you will find that people will tend to do what you do and that is a sign of leadership.  However, bad habits can also be past down.  If you operate your business as a hobby, your distributors will also operate their business as a hobby and no one wins.  Improve existing marketing methods or think of new ones.

Avoid copying something that has been done, and always strive to stand out.
