The Key To Your Financial Dreams

Quick answer…when done right, network marketing can be a dream career but it will take time, effort and dedication. Also if your not good at rejection or the word NO, network marketing may not be your best choice.
What Do You Do?
I find a lot of network marketing people shy away from greeting such as:
“What do you do?”
“Are you making money with network marketing?”
“Is this a pyramid scheme.”
Your response is what people will see with your confidence and attitude.
If you offer a big smile, stand up straight, and with confidence say,
“I help people become physically fit and financially free.” Or “ I show people how to make money and live financially free.” Or “I give dreams back to people.” Or “ I help people ______ and ______.” You fill in the blank. Quick and with confidence and no details no long out story.
At Dance Class
“Why Did I Ask”
The other day we were at my little girl dance class when the lady next to us looked at my wife and me and said, “What do you do?” Now there was more to the question, but that was the basic of her question.
Some network marketers get sweaty palms, choke up, heavy breathing and say, “um..um I work at XYZ company.” Or the just blurt out, “I’m-with-xyz-network-marketing-company-and-help-people-loose-weight-by-reducing-their-food-intake-with-energy-drinks-and-make-a-lots-of-money-and-I-can-get-you-started-with-your-own-business-part-time-and-I-can-help-you-sell-and-recruit-people-in-your-business-sign-up-right-here.” Whew
By this time the person who asked the question is bored or saying to themselves “Way did I even ask?”
It takes a minute or two to explain in all sincerity that I am a network marketing professional.
I Fell In Love With MLM..But Not At First
My Business didn’t happen at first
Several years ago, I fell in love with network marketing, but not at first. I saw a way in which I and other ordinary people could make money, help others and improve the financial future of my family and others.
Helping people with their dreams and a bank account to match could not be a more fulfilling way to make a living. I wake up each morning and surprised to be on this career path, knowing it almost slipped threw my hands.
Like many people I entered network marketing by accident and with a healthy dose of skepticism and lack of knowledge of what a powerful business this can be.
When first approached, all I thought of was, Pyramid Scheme and High Pressure Sales, Pushing People To Sign-Up were words that initially came to mind when I had heard of network marketing and I didn’t want to be one of “those people.” I’m not a sales person and the ideal of “selling” scared me.
My Humble Begging’s
Just by accident, a friend had called me a few years ago asking me to consider joining his network marketing team. Hearing network marketing, pyramid, selling and MLM entered my mind and I cut him off before he could even finish telling me about his multiple six figure income.
Wearing a button, home parties, hotel meetings, making a list of people, asking my family and friends to join a multi-level marketing company over took my thoughts. And the rest of his presentation was not even heard.
I smiled and politely said, “NO.” That was the end of my story.
Fortunately, the story didn’t end. Couple months later he contacted me and invited me to meet Jim. Jim lived across town and just recently joined the “business.” I agreed and we went to Starbucks for coffee.
Jim was no one special. In fact, Jim was in jeans, pull-over shirt, little over weight, glasses, dark hair (loosing some). Jim just signed up his 4th lead and had 3 customers to his product. His excitement was almost more than I could handle.
As we sat there I saw something in Jim that reminded me of so many other people I met over the years. He even paid for the coffee.
I knew what they were doing…they were going to get me to sign-up right there. Again, I was prepared to say “NO.” But to my surprise, I was not asked to sign-up, not moved to a corner that I was not going to get out of. We simply talked, drank our coffee and became friends and hear Jim’s story.
Several weeks went by, when I became curious and called my friend with two questions. 1) How was Jim doing? (hoping he was failing and/or quit). 2) What was this all about again?
Jim did not quit he even sign-up another person in his MLM Business. About question 2, my friend was busy and we scheduled a meeting the following week.
A little annoyed, because he didn’t jump at my question but more than that he was building his business without me. The more I thought about it the more interested I became. I was even thinking of how this may help make some part-time money to purchase a new Corvette.
I met with my friend with a little more opened minded. Thinking…Could I do this? Don’t know! But I will never know if I didn’t even try. With that I sign-up in my new Home Business and became the CEO of my part-time adventure.
After a couple of months of struggles, frustration and learning, I had my first lead. The lead joined me and I was on my way.
Shortly into my new venture, I visited the MLM Company, met other people and saw how others were building their business. This helped me to agree with my decision to become a network marketing professional.
I did my homework and sought the advice of trusted friends and mentors who had “made it” in network marketing. I followed their advice and committed to stick it out through any discomfort that may come with learning something new.
When I learned financial experts like Robert Kiyosaki of Rich Dad Poor Dad and leaders like Tony Robbins had jumped on the network marketing bandwagon I got over any hesitations. When paychecks started rolling in and friends graciously praised me for helping them reach their goals nothing was going to stop me.
By making the commitment to be a professional and set goals for myself and the team, I have been successful in network marketing, and anyone can do the same.
Time and Dedication
Like any business, this requires time and dedication and there is no get rich quick scheme going on. That being said I enjoy earning money as I learn. There’s little overhead, low start-up cost and rookie mistakes happened along the way with very little financial implication. There’s really no other business model out there that requires such a small investment in exchange for unlimited earning potential.
Smart people everywhere are starting to take a closer look at this business model as our economy continues to evolve.

Stay Motivated And Pride In Your MLM Business
Network marketing appeals to many differ types of people; ex corporate leaders, military families, educators, doctors, teachers, the person next door, retired people, truck drivers, mom’s at home and so many others who realized this industry gave them the power to take the reins on their financial futures and either supplement an income or create a whole new one while managing their own schedule.
Is network marketing the dream career? For me and many of my acquaints it is a Dream Come True Career.
I gave up the corporate life to owning a brick and mortar business. I gave up the brick and mortar business to become a professional network marketer and thanks to my friend, who never gave up on me, creating a good MLM business.
I now work from home. No boss. No commute. No company rules. No cubical. I go to work in my PJ’s and any time I want. I take time off when I want and if I don’t want to work today…I don’t work.
Network marketing fit into my and my family’s life style beautifully. Now I’m able to set my business hours around my family time and feel confident that every Monday I have a residual paycheck coming. My only regret is not taking this business model more seriously and working to build this stream of residual income when first approached. I find it much easier than I thought and I don’t sell.
If network marketing and creating financial freedom is something you think you may be interested in but are skeptical like I was, consider a few things— First, think about how many people join a network marketing company every day! Second, remember success in this business is only possible by helping others reach their goals. Third, remember you don’t need to have a thousands to be successful. As Eric Worre says, “you need 10 good people to start and grow a good MLM business.”
I Don’t Sell
I know when I find a service, product or person that I love I cannot help but share with all of my friends. Most of us are this way, because at our core we desire to help those around us live their best life. If you’ve ever recommended a great restaurant or movie to a friend, you can do network marketing!
There are many MLM companies out there with incredible products. All it takes is finding one you are passionate about, finding a few people to run with you and committing to a common goal. Whether it takes a few months or a few years to reap your rewards, you will never regret financial freedom and the meaningful friendships you will form in network marketing!
Network Marketing The Dream Career.
Friendship with people you don’t even know yet. Financial freedom only a few will enjoy. Living a life style you create. Work when you want and where you want. Having a family business. Travel when you want. Opportunity to work with people who enjoy life and positive. Exciting. Personally rewarding. Leadership and helping others and watch their growth.
Can you make money with a Multi-level business? Absolutely YES.
