With mobile marketing you can have a full income or just a little extra cash, the decision is yours.   How to be successful with your mobile marketing will take time, effort and some challenges.  However, you minimize the impact to your frustrations by following a few tips, advice and following mentors.

The question really comes down to…”can I make money with mobile marketing?”  And the answer is YES!  But as mentioned it will not happen overnight, so be patient.

Hint Do not pester your clientele with pointless messages. Make sure you always have something relevant to say when you take the time to message them.

You need to build a great database first. Only use people that have opted into your autoresponder system. It is important to get their permission before you begin sending them emails or you maybe spamming.  Ask your existing online customers to join your mobile database, and give them a reason for joining such as “keep up to date with the mobile industry” .  Or something like that.  Just give them a reason for continuing with you.

Hint When you consider what to include on your mobile page, remember that it’s important to say as much as you can with as little copy as possible. Your mobile site needs to be concise and pertinent, not full of lengthy, keyword stuffed product pages and landing pages.

When developing content for mobile marketing, be sure that you keep your message brief and easy to understand. Attention spans are short, so use a short message which includes your company’s name.

If you notice, I write in short paragraphs.  You get the information quick and easy to read.  Then the next paragraph either builds or offers a new subject.  The Headline will lead you to the subject.

Hint A customer base typically remains the same unless market factors prompt a change. However, this doesn’t always apply to mobile customers.

Key Word Stuffing

When you are gearing your website towards mobile users, remember brevity is a virtue. Customers visiting your mobile site do not have the time to dig down into page after page of bloated, keyword-stuffed content to get the valuable information they want. Be short and concise with mobile marketing.

One other reason is that Google does not like “key-word stuffing” and could get you re-indexed.  Something you don’t want to happen.

Social Marketing and Mobile Marketing

If you want to be successful in social marketing such as Facebook, Twitter and others, you must always stay one step ahead of the competition. You have to stand out from your competitors. You will have to invest money to optimize your website for your mobile campaign, or to create a new website designed for mobiles.

It can be a challenge to create an effective mobile marketing site. If you need things to work in your favor and go smoothly you should outsource it to someone who knows what they are doing.  Many people try to go cheap.  Cheap is exactly what it is…CHEAP.  Many well minded people can’t understand why they are failing only to realize that to make money you need to spend a little money.  Maybe not much in the begging but a little.

There may be many people saying go away or say that they want something more, but having customer guidance is too important not to pay attention to every chance you get.

There are many free apps you can give away to customers, but it’s also not that difficult to create your own apps. When your business offers a specialized app, your mobile marketing efforts will really take off. There is a wide variety of features that might suit your purposes.


 A mobile marketing campaign can boost your business and draw in lots of customers, but only if it is entirely compatible with all mobile platforms. If technical glitches arise because of platform incompatibility, you could lose customers.

Mobile marketers that are successful take it slowly. You should also do this. Go from texting to calling to videos and keep the trend going, continuing to socialize and to build your network as large as you can. Use your resources as best as you can.
