Lou Holt’s Humor For Every Day Life

Louis Leo “Lou” Holtz is a former American football player, coach, and analyst. He served as the head football coach at The College of William & Mary, North Carolina State University, the University of Notre Dame.

Lou is better know for his football tactics, but he is also a great motivation speaker. I had the opportunity to meet him on a plane trip Dallas.

Recently he was honored with a Doctorate Degree from the Franciscan University of Steubenville.

During the commencement for the student’s of Franciscan University Lou Holz gave what may be the best commencement speech of all time…. Certainly words of wisdom for our time today. Here is 18 minutes of pure wisdom and humor in which we should live by. Sit back and be amazed by Mr. Lou Holz magic for today.

One of the messages you will hear is:

“Ability is what you’re capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.

Don’t tell your problems to people: eighty percent don’t care; and the other twenty percent are glad you have them.

Motivation is simple. You eliminate those who are not motivated.”
