Thinking About Starting A Blog? Be Sure To Look At These Tips First.
By Bill Fletcher Thinking of starting a blog? Congratulations. If you have a home based business you really need a blog. Let’s say you have a network marketing business, again you need a blog. Why? A blog will get you recognized. Looking for leads for your business, a blog will get you leads. With so many advantages of a blog you simply can not go without starting a blog. Now the question! Is a blog hard to get started? Do I have to be a tech? The answer is NO. Establishing a blog is very easy, and be techy all you do is to write about your product or area of interest.
Devote Time To Your Blog
If you want a blog of your own, be prepared to devote at least a little time to learning which writing a blog techniques are considered the most effective. This will allow you to get started on the right foot. Before doing anything what is the purpose of your blog. Is it to entertain, give information, product reviews, company reviews, “How To” blog. The list is endless.
Know why you are starting a blog and then begin. Once you have your blog, post an article daily to begin. This will start to get you recognized. After 90 to 120 days you can post 2-3 time a week. Of course the question I get here is “what do I write about”. And my answer is anything….Write about a favorite book, about a movie, about your business, about you.
Once you start you will soon find that it will become easy. In fact, I find that I have too many topic to write about. Take a look at the many articles in this blog site to gain more information on how to begin, what to write about and how to get your blog read. I have listed a few of the most popular subjects below. Be sure to look at these tips to learn more. Commenting on other blogs can get your own blog noticed. Google Reader has an excellent tool for keeping tabs on blogs that are related to your own. Visit those blogs daily and add your comments. Now be honest and objective. If you disagree, show the author where you disagree but not abusive. If you like the blog post, let the author know you liked and then add your own link back to your blog. You will build readers while letting Google know people are going to your blog.
Frequent Articles
Make frequent updates to your blog. New content on a regular basis is the only way that your blog will experience an increase of viewers. If you do not offer new content often, readers will have no motivation to keep visiting. Try to aim for posting at least one time every day.
Plagiarism
Don’t copy anything when creating your blog. Plagiarism is really serious, and it can make you lose credibility by doing something like this. If you find a blog you really like and it is in the same field of your blog, use some of the article in your post. If you do, always give credit to the original author. I do this often and conclude with, “Many thanks to Mr/Ms X for the valuable content to this article.” Or I might say, “This article includes excerpts from Mr/Ms X. Thanks for the advice and help in providing content to my article.” Finding success in a blog does not require you to write like a professional. The important thing you need to have is passion about the things that you are writing.
Do I Need To Be A TECH?
Quick answer….NO. In fact Adam is not a tech or had any experience in blogging or marketing on the Internet. He simply had a desire to make money online and followed his desire. Take a look at his story by watching this video. Simply Click Here To See Adam and His Story
Blog Comments Are Always Welcome
Always keep up with the feedback that your blog receives, and respond back when it is appropriate. Never let yourself get overly emotional about this process. Whatever the topic of your post, someone will disagree with it! Expand upon constructive criticism to improve future blog postings. Just respond politely to destructive and negative comments and move on. By responding politely, your readers will see your maturity and will continue reading.
Use lists in your blog posts. Lists become very useful when you’re posting specific requirements, such as ingredients to gather or tools needed for a job. Lists provide information in a format that is easy to view and also easy to understand.
Mailing List
Always ask for comments and when you can, get the email address of your readers. This will build a list and if you have a product or service the list will make you money. You need to develop your blog’s mailing list as quickly as you can. If you create the list early enough, it will have ample time to grow. You can use this list later on to make money. You may regret not starting your mailing list if you wait until a later time.
You can blog as little or as often as you’d like to, whether that’s a few posts each month or updates every day. You need to stick to whatever schedule you do choose so that you will encourage your visitors to come back regularly and thus increase your site traffic. Keep what you’ve learned in this article in mind, and your blog will be successful in no time!
