4 Simple Ways to Create Freedom In Your Life

By Bill Fletcher

Introduction

Have you noticed that today people are a little more stressed than yesterday?  The freedom we choose to live in today is also been compromised.

Let me explain:  Everything come quicker today.  The Internet has changed the way we hear news and people.  We email instead of calling.  Instead of a nation, we are now global.  Job security is not as it once was and the ability to save for retirement is a lot more difficult if not impossible. Believe it or not your happiness in seeing the day, week, month and years through is tied with your freedom.  And your freedom is closely tied to your ability to see past the every day issue.

The question is: “Do you have the freedom to make decisions about your happiness and freedom?”  “Can you see through all the “clutter” and focus on YOU?” “Do you have the  freedom in the way you spend your day?”  Finally, “How happy are you with the way your life is going?”

If you‘re like most people I talk to, they are not at all happy with the future, their job, financial outlook and most are somewhat stressed with “things” in general. If you feel that you lack freedom in your life and want to put back the glow in your eyes, walk a little faster and see a brighter future, I have “4 Simple Way To Create Freedom In Your Life”.

 Freedom snatchers

If you live your life like most people, you have a job. You’re please with the job or like most wish they didn’t have to work.  You Depression-jpghave a mortgage and your home value is less than you owe.  Or you’re in an apartment or renting a home.  You may be in college and have a great outlook on the day you graduate.

Like most people you are concerned with your financial worth or job security.  You may be in a good relation or distressed. Most likely you also have certain social responsibilities, such as showing care to a loved one, taking care of a pet, paying bills and keeping track of endless flows of messages that reach you through Facebook and Twitter.

Without realizing it, most of your life might consist of these responsibilities, limiting you in your ambitions and preventing you from pursuing your dreams. If that is the case, it’s time for change! Dismal?

I don’t like to spread gloom and nothing is impossible.  With a few minor changes you can regain that “Child Like” look on everyday life.

4 Simple Ways To Create Freedom In Your Life

Step 1: Define what your freedom looks like for YOU The basic fundamental elements of your life, is to define what freedom looks like to you. As I speak to people, the definition is different. Some people find it crucial to have a certain degree of freedom to decide when and where to work.

Other people are okay with a 9 to 5 job as long as the job is secure. I speak with other who would like to quit their Celebrationjob for various reasons. Many want to spend more time with family and friends. Many define Freedom as the ability to do what ever they want when ever they want go anywhere they want without someone telling when and how.

Your exercise

Get out paper and pencil, close your eyes and “DREAM BIG”.  Be a child and you have no restrictions to time, money, job, people.  You have the freedom to put down on paper what ever you want.

Define what kind of freedom is important for you and why. Now Do It!

Example: “I would like to have more freedom to travel to places like Paris whenever I want.  I want the freedom to work when I want to work and make as much as I want without a boss”. “I want the freedom to have a house on any lake I want with 3 cars of my choice in the garage and a private dock for my boat. I want a cabin in the mountains for snow skiing”. “I want everyday to be a Saturday and 3 million dollars in the bank.

I don’t want my company or my boss controlling my time and day as they expect from me”. This is your time to go all out and define your freedom and happiness.

Be BIG, remember this is YOU defining YOU!

Step 2: Define where your freedom will come from Nature gives us a high degree of freedom by default. Whenever our freedom is in danger, it is usually threatened by other people. Therefore it is important to define whose controlling your freedom. Is it your job, money, time, outside influences…Or Is It YOU? time to change

Surprised with YOU!  Many people I visit with are very good at creating a lot of obligations they in fact don’t have. Be honest about who is limiting your freedom and define clearly how that should change. You have the power to change. You have the power to be what ever you want and you have the power to control your own freedom.

All you have to do is to Step ! and then define where your freedom is going to come from.

A lot of people I talk to lack confidence, have fear of success and failure, don’t want to step-outside-of-the-box or just gave up and lost that “childhood exuberance”.

Example: I have a business.  For me to create additional freedom is to “off load” some of the daily tasks. For me to have more freedom is schedule my time as to when to work, when to relax, when to play, when to travel and when to do whatever I want. Where does this come from? My attitude, my mind set, my outlook at what is important and confidence.

Step 3: Experiment with taking your freedom back See what happens when you stop checking your emails every hour, wasting valuable time on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and a host of other social media.  Take back some of that time.  Stop watching the TV News.  News is always depressing anyway. Use your new found time on something you like to do.

Experiment, after all it does not mean the end of the world

Step 4: Start a new business. Since most people are limited to time, energy and money with their job, some have offered to take back some of that time and Futurefreedom buy starting a home based business.

Your question now is, “How does a new business take back more freedom and happiness when I am spend more of my time with a business and less with what I want to do?” And the answer is, “Yes you will give up time, and energy for a short period”.  I normally get the question, “But what if I’m not successful?”  My response is, “But what if you are successful?”

It take no more time to become successful than not. When you become successful, you will find you will be working less, have more money to do what you want and freedom to go and do whatever you want.  Plus the added benefit of creating a much happier life style.

Summery

Since you can only spend every second, every minute, every hour and every day once, it is definitely worthwhile to define what freedom and happiness means to you. The freedom definition is unique to each person.  A day at the beach, or camping or seeing new places, doing nothing or owning Costa Ricatheir business is personal.

One thing is true for everyone…you have to define what Freedom means to you and how are you going to get that freedom?.

Do Step 1 now.  Dream BIG.  Then follow that ideal until it becomes a reality.
