Are Your Ready To Break Free From Struggling and Frustration In Network Marketing?

Question: “Are you ready to break free from your struggles and failures in the Network Marketing battle field?” I sure hope so, because I have been there and it’s not pleasant.

You were shown how to make money, live a life without debt and have a dream business…Right? You know you have a good product and a great business opportunity, but no one is listening….right? And now you may be struggling or worst, loss the dream.

Let me share with you what I know from my experience and yes this was a painful time!

I had nothing to show for all my efforts. I spent every day chasing friends and family without any results. I made a “list” like I was told…nothing. I was told to talk to everyone and anyone…nothing.

I got into the Network Marketing business to make money but in some respect, I also wanted something I could call my own…a business. A business where I called my own shots. A Business to work on my terms. A business to create and control my own financial goals.

My dream of a family vacation to some far away island, the new house, the old car which was telling me it’s time for a change, savings for future education of the kids?

I was surprised when this was not happening so… I started hopping from one business offer to another…not knowing where to go…feeling stuck, overwhelmed by boatloads of information…No Sales… No Traffic.

I’m not stupid, I was expecting “No’s” but a “Yes” on occasions would be okay as well.

Anyway that was me. I hope I didn’t describe you, but if you are struggling with your Network Marketing Business there are solutions.

Solutions to help bring back the excitement, the fun and creating a good income from your business that you were shown.

Let me share what I have learned during all those years of pain…

…the 7 things that, in my opinion had a mayor impact on ending my frustrations:

  1.  Hopping between shiny objects without any focus. All this did was to cause distractions loss of focus and starting over. Nothing changed in moving from one business opportunity to another. It was just another product. My advice…Stop Hopping. You chose the business for a reason. See it through and focus on results.
  2. Drowning in boatloads of information. Buying information without any end purpose is a sure recipe for disaster. Information alone is not enough. You need to take action with the information and measure and monitor your results in order to know if it is working not. My advice…Take one piece of information and act on it…even if it is wrong. You will learn from the experience. Become good at it then move on to the next. You will soon find that you will become an expert. People are looking for help, advice and a go-to person to help them.
  3. Lack of focus and spreading out too thin without the proper experience. Going into too many projects and not finishing any one of them. This was my problem. I want to know “everything.” When I stopped knowing “everything” and focused on a single project such as being good at recruiting my business started to expand. My advice…focus on one project. Put blinders on and like Step 2, become the Expert in that project.
  4. Lack of basic skills. Network Marketing requires basic skill such as how to talk to people the right way, how to find only people who want what you have to offer and helping those people to become good in their business. Break this down into manageable skills. If you decide to pick “how to find the most qualified people to recruit into your business”, become skilled in this basic function and forget about the others. You will soon find that this will become automatic. Your recruits will follow your lead, advice and develop this basic skill. They will grow and you will grow. My advice…Just like the other Steps, learn ONE basic skill and then teach that skill to your team. Your business will take off.
  5. Not having the faintest idea of how to create and build a list of “qualified” targeted members. This again is a Skill. Finding the Right people to attract to your business opportunity is a Skill. Talking to anyone and everyone will only cause you to loose your voice. My advice…only present your business opportunity to people who want what you have to offer. Stay away from, tire-kickers, toe-dippers and want-a-be’s. Be good at communication skills and look for the “Doers.” By the way, many successful Network Markers will tell you to practice on friends and family. In most cases they will not join you in your Network Marketing Business.
  6. Not having the right kind of tools and resources that allow you manage effectively your Network Marketing Business. In my opinion this is one of the most important resource you need to have to create success. Your MLM Company will probably have tools for your…use them. However to create a growing business there are other tools available to support your goals. My advice…find tools that will increase your skills. These tools maybe from other sources. Let’s say you want to develop a skill in finding the “Right people for your business opportunity.” There are tools just for that skill. GET THAT TOOL.
  7. Not having a Mentor or Coach. Every successful person from the dawn of history had a Mentor. You are no different. A mentor or coach is you best asset in the success of your business. Your mentor should be someone who has been where you are. He or she should be good at helping and offering advice to your success.

Not Following The Advice Of Your Mentor Is A Major Flaw!

One of the flaws I see in many Network Marketers is not following the advice of their Mentor. When I finally realized I didn’t know it all and followed my Mentors advice step-by-step my business started to expand. My advice…find a Mentor or Coach to help you overcome your weakness and advice you how to move forward. Not having a qualified Mentor will only slow you down.

If you notices in all the steps, there was one common advice….become an expert in One thing. People are looking for help and advice. If you can offer that help, you will be the go-to person and people will be looking for you instead of you looking for them.

Time and patience is also a skill.   Your Network Marketing Business will not grow over-nite. It will require time.

A good friend of mine, a husband and wife team took over two years to see any success. They developed One skill and today they have a growing business with good income.

Another couple took 12 years to become successful. Imagine 12 years of staying with it. Today they are sought after speakers for many Network Marketing events. And I can name many others.

What did all these successful Network Marketers have in common? They developed a skill. One skill to help them grow. Only after they mastered that skill did they develop another skill.

My advice…master a skill and become a expert at that skill.

Find a Mentor or Coach who has your best interest in mind and do what they say. Don’t look at the “Next best thing.” Find and use a “Tool” that will develop your skills while helping you gain the confidence to become a Great Network Marketer.

Don’t do as I did and try to go it alone while making all the mistakes. This caused me a lot of frustration, anxiety issues, pain and struggles. It wasn’t until I found a good Mentor from a successful Network Marketing Business owner that my business took a turn to the better.
