Remove Obstacles

Any type of marketing you’re attempting to do online can be difficult for a wide number of reasons. You should be looking first and foremost to remove the obstacles, and one of the biggest obstacles you have in front of you is a lack of knowledge. Here’s some Best Network Marketing Tips From People Who Know All About It.

Tip 1…MLM Is A Business

For some reason, many people don’t view their MLM business as a Business.  Open a franchise or start a brick and mortar business, is what many would to when you say “your in a business.”   Keep in mind, Network Marketing or MLM is a “BUSINESS” just like any other business.  One of the most important things you can do to insure your success is to treat your MLM venture as the business it is.

You have customers just like the franchise has customers.  You have operating hours, just like the franchise has operating hours.  Your are looking for new customers just like the franchise is looking for new customers.  The only difference between you and a franchise, the franchise is run by a single person or persons.  You business is also operated by a single person or persons, however in your business, you are developing a “TEAM” of professionals.  This is a huge advantage between the franchise, brick and mortar business.

Here are a few other tips to help you improve your multi-level marketing (MLM) and recruiting efforts within the world of direct selling:

Tip 2 …Find A Company With A Product You Love

Too many people get caught up in the hype of potential big income from a MLM presentation.  Most presentations will show the power of sponsoring, the value of the products and that between them both you will make money.  Again, most presentations avoid the word “Selling.”  The reason is that most people don’t like to sell or don’t know how to sell.  You can’t sell something or share your business if you don’t genuinely improve your multi-level marketinghave pride in what you are representing. Do your MLM research and partner with a company that has a product you can get excited about. Don’t forget to look into the company’s compensation plan before you join and make sure it is favorable to you.

To improve your network marketing lest’s look at the word “Sell”

A word about “Sell.”  Believe it or not you are selling something every day without ever noticing.  Have you ever recommended a restaurant?  Selling.  Have you ever went to a movie only to talk about it to a friend?  Selling.  You watched a TV show last night and at work you told your do-workers about the TV program.  Selling.

Anytime you tell someone about a favorite book, movie, TV show, restaurant, a recipe, favorite car, travel, lawn mower, shampoo, make-up or…. You Are Selling.

Tip 3 …Be Genuine and Ethical

One reason that direct selling gets a bad rap is that many representatives use hype and sometimes deception to lure in new recruits. This leads many to believe that the MLM companies themselves encourage this behavior, when in truth, they don’t.

Legitimate MLM companies want you to be honest in your dealings with customers and potential recruits. If you love your product, your enthusiasm is enough to promote it. Just make sure you provide good information that is both Genuine and Ethical.

Tip 4 …Don’t Pester Your Friends and Family

If you new or have been in network marketing for sometime, you were first told to make a list of 100 people you have ever known.  This include family, friends, classmates, postman, insurance, clerks and so on.  You

improve your multi-level marketing

Don’t pester family and friends

next step is contact them and explain your in a new business and want to talk to them, or something like that.  RIGHT!

Nothing will annoy your family and cost you friends more than constantly pestering them about your business. There’s nothing wrong with letting them know what you’re doing and seeing if they have an interest, but if the answer is “no,” let it go.

All professional network marketers will tell you that their business was build on “Strangers.”  People they haven’t met or people they will meet at sometime in the future.

Many MLM companies suggest making a list of 100 people you know, and while that’s not wrong, you should consider that most successful MLM.ers have very few people from their original list of 100 people in their business. In most cases, friends and family who are in the business often come AFTER seeing the MLMer’s success.

Success in MLM comes from treating it like any other business in which you focus on the people who want what you have to offer. That means deciding who the target market is for your products/services, as well as the business opportunity.

Tip 5 …Identify Your Target Market

One of the biggest mistakes new MLM.ers make is looking at everyone (including friends and family) as a potential customer or recruit. This is one area where the MLM industry gets it wrong. Like any other business, you’re going to have greater success and efficiency if you identify your target market and focus your marketing efforts at them.

As mentioned in Tip 4, your network marketing business will be build on stranger….not your friends and family.

Tip 6 …Always Sponsor, Never Recruit

One of the benefits of MLM is the ability to bring in new business builders and profit from the sales they make in their business. While some see this as “using” others, the reality is that you’re being rewarded for helping others succeed. But for them to succeed, you need to see your role not as racking up as many recruits as possible, but in being a leader and trainer. The focus then is on the success of those you help in the business, not on you.

By showing someone who  maybe interested in what you have to offer, you are explaining the benefits of your opportunity and how is will solve a potential problem to that individual.

The difference between Sponsor and Recruit is that Sponsoring is have the person sign up with you as a partner with the information and knowledge of the opportunity.  Recruiting to me is like a hard sell.  Again, to me it is a negative term.  Recruit is not a personal term I like to use.  I will sponsor you is more friendly.  Sponsor is like a partner.

Tip 7 …Listen and Provide A Solution

Many MLM companies or your sponsor, will or have provided scripts to help you sell the product or service. While these can be helpful in teaching you about your product and dealing with objections, sales is all about finding a solution to what a customer needs.

It’s kinda like and interview.  Ask questions and the LISTEN to their response.  Your prospect will tell you want they are looking for and in most cases their problem.  A question like:  “Do you like to take long vacations improve your multi-level marketingto the mountains for skiing?”  Will evoke an answer.

“Well we don’t like skiing but we do like the swim in the ocean.”  Now you have something to work with.  “Have you ever been to the Caribbean and swam in the blue-green waters?”  “No, would like to but we don’t have the money to do that, especially after we pay our monthly bills.”  There It Is.  Yes they would like to but money is the issue.”

To improve your network marketing after you asked a question, you have LISTENED and now found out that MONEY is the issue.

Find the Problem, Listen, Provide a Solution….You have not sold a thing, you have only provided a solution with your opportunity.

By qualifying your contact first, and then listening to their needs, you can tailor your offer so that you’re the solution to their problem.

Tip 8 …Learn How to Market

MLM.ers often stick to the three-foot rule (everyone within 3-feet of you is a prospect) and other traditional marketing tactics. But direct sales is like any other business. It can and should be marketed in a variety of ways that takes into consideration your target market, what it needs, how you can help, and where it can be found.

Marketing is defined by the American Marketing Association as “the activity, set of institutions, and processes for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large.

To that end, you can use a variety of marketing tools including a website (check your companies policy), email, and social media to increase product sales and interest in your business.

Tip 9 …Develop a System for Following Up

While you don’t want to pester and annoy people, in many cases, with good follow up, you can make the sale or sponsor at a future time. Sales is often about timing, and ‘no’ in sales doesn’t always mean ‘never.’

If someone says NO to any of your offers, it just means several things:  They don’t have enough information to say yes.  They have too much going on and the “Timing” is not right.  Or you haven’t provided a solution to any of their issues.  Or They simply mean NO!.

It’s not personal, it’s just not right for them.

If someone tells you NO, but there was something in the dialogue that suggested they might be interested in the future, ask if you can put them on your mailing or email list, or if you can call in six months to follow up. Many will give you their email or phone number just because they want to be nice. Even so, use your calendar or contact system to remind you when to call.

Entrepreneur Has 7 Tips For Network Marketers that is worth reading

improve your multi-level marketing6 Important Network Marketing Tips for Greater Success

1. Always Have a good attitude. The other day I did this post How to Build a Network Marketing Team and in it I share that one of the most important things is they energy you carry around with you. When is the last time you saw a top earner cross your company stage and they had a bad attitude? That would be never but here’s the trick…

People that aren’t successful think that when they BECOME a top earner they will have a good attitude and will finally be happy but that isn’t how it works. When you have a crappy negative attitude, you NEVER cross the finish line. I also talked about this in my recent podcast Top 3 Qualities I look for.

A good attitude will overcome. A good attitude will succeed DESPITE. It isn’t that people who have no circumstances or an obstacle free life, it is simply that they CHOOSE to remain positive in the belief that life will improve. One component of having a good attitude is to be coachable. Those who stop believing they know it all have the opening for NEW learning and NEW results in their life.

2. Show Your Offer To More People. Having a bad day? Show more people. Tires flat? Show more people. Not feeling good about your current results? Show more people. Spouse doesn’t believe in you? Show more people. SMP, SMP, SMP, SMP will pull you out of ANY funk, help you with ANY circumstance and is the ONLY way to actually change your results. Keep in mind it is your habits that created your results so change those habits and…SHOW MORE PEOPLE!

3. Never Ever Quit. This is one of my Network Marketing Tips for Guaranteed Success that NEEDS to be understood and embraced. I fully believe that when it comes to how to do network marketing, there is no failing, there is either succeeding or quitting. But, a few things will happen to test you and see if you truly have what it takes…

4, Avoid the Pyramid Question.  In discussing your network marketing business. Right from the start if people ask you if it is a pyramid scheme, you need to turn it back on them and ask if that is what they are looking for, because if it is, they will have to look elsewhere. People expect you to defend yourself, not say things like that. There is no reason to defend something that does not need a defense.

5. Every Success In Network Marketing Was Preceded At First By Failures. You do not make it in this industry without being willing to fail at first. It is through these failures that we learn what to do and what to avoid. The main point is to take these fails and turn them into positive learning experiences.

6. When Prospecting, Stop Focusing On Making The Sale.  Focus On Whether There Is Even A Sale To Be Made. If you focus on making the sale, you will end up wasting your time on prospects that will never happen. Learn to listen to those cues that let you know you are barking up the wrong tree, so you can move on to more likely prospects.
