Network Marketing is a great way to make money at home either part-time or full-time. With hundreds of Network Marketing Companies to choose from you can literally find dozens of companies that will fit your needs and requirements.

But there is a problem that you must consider when starting your home based business. Many people enter into network marketing with “rose colored eyes”. The idea of making hundreds or even thousands of dollars monthly is very appealing.

The fact is that 80% of those that enter into network marketing do it wrong and soon fail. Not because of the MLM company or the products, its because success comes with proper coaching and training.

Think of baseball. You won’t become a great hitter without proper coaching. You won’t become a great catcher without proper coaching. The same is true for your network marketing business.

Now let’s step back for a moment. No matter how you push, most people you talk to will say NO to your business opportunity. Those who do sign up, most will do nothing while a small few will grow with the business…a small few. I’ll address this later.

Here is your challenge … very quickly you, me and everyone on your team… will eventually blow through their warm market – family, friends and co-workers.

So now what? Now what do you do? This is where most fail while leaders learn to adjust…so let’s adjust…

We have to learn how to connect with people we don’t know!

Ask Your Sponsor

So we ask our sponsor “what do I do now?” The answer is “talk to others”. “Approach stranger on the street”, place “stickers” on car windshields. “Post notes in apartment buildings, stores etc:” “Call people on the phone”, “wear a silly button”, “spend a fortune on ads”, “spam Twitter and Facebook”. Most of the time your sponsor doesn’t know.

Soon you buy generic business opportunity leads in hope someone will respond. When you do get someone, you do home meetings or hotel meetings. Maybe you invite them to your sponsors house to do meetings.

After a while you purchase more ads. Now your getting the idea.

Network Marketing is a great way to make money but not for “old school marketing”. What I mentioned above may work for some but not for everyone.

So here is the Million Dollar Question (It’s your business)..do you have the skill or the money? Do you have the time? Are you disciplined enough? Most people aren’t and therefore the high failure rate.
