Introduction
You likely don’t know everything that can be learned about Internet marketing. The Internet is so vast and changes so quickly that no one can keep up with everything, so there is always something new to learn. This article will give you a few quick tips for improving your online marketing efforts.
Never Deceive Your Readers
Although you never want to trick someone into clicking on an ad you have produced, there are ways you can entice people to click on the ad without them feeling deceived. You can use text that matches they are looking for in your Title and within the article or closing. This way, your ad won’t even look like one.
For example: I am always looking for “frustrated marketers” These can be MLM distributors, Network Marketers, Affiliate Marketers and Home Based Business or Work From Home opportunities.
Many of these people are frustrated, struggling and ready to quit the business. For this reason, they are looking for help. Help with the business, how to get leads, how to grow and many other reasons that they are not getting now.
By using headlines and titles, they may come to me for help and advice. Headlines like;
- Frustrated with your MLM business? Here’s help
- Struggling in your Network Marketing Business? Don’t Struggle Any More
- Are You Ready To Quit Your Affiliate Marketing Business? Don’t Quit
- Also there are other ways to get people to come to you. Again here are some examples:
- 97% of Network Marketers Quit…Why? Find Out
- “Why 97% of Home Based Business Owners FAIL and How To Fix It”
- “Long haired hippie kid makes ridiculous sized check”. Find out how
Buy Space
Buy ad space on popular, well-known sites. The exposure this investment will bring makes the expense worthwhile. The more daily visits a website has, the more potential customers will become familiar with your brand.
While this can produce leads, the cost is something to think about. If your on a low budget this may not be a good approach just yet. Come back this when you see some money coming in. Using a well known site is an excellent way to get noticed. You want to get noticed.
Social Media
Find ways to utilize Facebook and Twitter throughout your Internet marketing. These social media sites keep you in direct contact with your customers and give you the quickest way to promote sales or find leads. Do not share promotional material only; provide your audience with interesting and useful content as often as possible. Provide posts that are informative and witty, with a little bit of sales lingo scattered here and there.
Most important…never spam and most important with Social Media..Don’t Sell. Selling can turn people off. Use Social Media to get to know your prospect. Find out what they do, how are they doing, what are they looking for and be a friend to offer help and advice. When it is appropriate, tell them about your business opportunity.
Even if they turn you down today..tomorrow may be different. Just stay in contact and help them.
Another way of helping, if they turn you down on your opportunity is to direct them to a third party whose business is to help them. So they turn you down but you can make money by referring them to the third party. I know of an Internet Marketer who makes a 6 figure income just from referring people to the third party.

KeyWords
In your Social post and Blog post use good keywords. Keywords that your target audience is searching for. Again in my example, I am looking for Network Marketers looking for help or advice.
In my post I sprinkle Keywords so they can find me on the Internet. How do you find these keywords? Use Google search tool.
Another trick I use is to Google a word or phrase and see the results. Here I can see what people are posting. Also look at the bottom. There you will see other suggestions. Pick some keywords or phrases and use them in your FaceBook, Twitter, Squidoo, Isntagram and your Blog.
Doing this regularly will soon get you noticed and ranked on Google.
Use Your Signature
Including your signature in every outgoing email is crucial, even when it does not pertain to business. Similar to the way that a standard printed business card works in the physical world, your signature should be prominent and used frequently. This is a great way to connect with people and seem more accessible, which will in turn boost revenue and traffic to your site.
Along with your signature you will want to include your Facebook, Twitter and any other Social site you want them to go to. Also if you have a blog, list that in your email.
Example:
- John Smith (signature)
- Internet Coach (what you do)
- FaceBook (your FaceBook link)
- Twitter (your Twitter link)
- Blog (your blog site)
Here’s a tip for your internet promotion efforts. Assure your customers that they have nothing to worry about while on your site! Put a site-wide link to your privacy policy at the top right corner of your site. Doing this will reassure your customers that the money they spend will be handled with care. Let them know that their personal information will never be jeopardized because they have chosen to make a purchase from you.
Images
A unique way of doing Internet marketing is to use image searches. If you place relevant images on your site it can pique interest in what else your site has to offer. It is common for someone to come to your site while searching for information, and stay because their interest was piqued. It also gives the customer a visual that will make them more likely to remember your product.
Making an Ezine and promoting it to customers can be a great way to get some extra business if you know what you’re doing. Try adding a personal touch by showing pictures of yourself so they can identify you. You can also include information about your life or fun office anecdotes. Get readers interested by putting something interesting in the subject line, like telling them that you will provide the best, fastest or least expensive means to accomplish something.
Finally
Fortunately, a lot of information is available that will show you how to market better. You don’t have to spend a lot of time studying. You can start out with just a few simple tips. There are fast, easily-digestible ideas for improving your Web marketing performance, everywhere online. Keep your eyes open and you will keep improving your marketing results.
