Introduction
Technology has vastly changed through the years and it has affected communication among people. The blog industry is crowded and competitive, but the following tips and advice can help you to stand out.
If you have a home based business such as MLM or network marketing even an affiliate program, you need a blog. A blog allows you to communicate your business opportunity, products and training as well as getting leads for your business. However, using a blog and getting it set-up in important.
Your blog needs to be clean, crisp and offer value or your readers will simply click away.
Part of this article will give you “Cool Tips And Tricks For Running A Blog”. It is not intended to be your ultimate guide but a few tips on blogging. Read additional articles in the site for more information. More on that later.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Use search engine optimization techniques to help improve your blog’s readership. Your goal, of course, is to get people to your site. Most will likely have to get there through the search engines, so ranking is very important. Select a group of keywords, and make sure they appear in the title and body of blog posts so that you bring in a large number of visitors.
Fore example you have a home based business and want leads to your business. In your blog post or article you need to spread the keyword your looking for through out the article, heading, and summery. Ie: “we will show you have to get leads”. “This article will identify 3 sources of getting leads”. “Having trouble in getting leads for your home business”.
The keyword here is “get leads”, “getting leads”. If I had an article for leads the keywords would be spread through out the article.
Don’t Over Do The Keyword
Do not rely to heavily on keywords, Adsense ads, plug-ins, or images. If you do, your blog could get removed from the major search engines, negating all the hard work you’ve done so far. Let your prose flow smoothly and naturally.
I have seen blogs with the “keyword” all over the blog. In some cases it made no sense. For example, An article is on Blogging. In the article here is what one paragraph read, ” Your blog should be well organized so you can get leads”. It continued, “Use good colors so people will stay on your blog for getting leads”. In the same paragraph, “Your side post will get you leads if done correctly”. And again the same paragraph, “Free leads will come to your blog with good content allowing you to get leads”.
In one paragraph, the keyword “get leads” was use 5 times. But the rest of the blog was also loaded with “get leads” for a total of 35 times in a blog of 400 words. This will get you “flagged” and “spamming”. None of which you want.
Blog Daily
A key to a successful blog is to blog often. A common mistake some bloggers make is they don’t update their blog frequently enough. Readers will get bored if there aren’t new articles, often. To keep your running a blog audience captivated, blog every week and forward the update in emails.
I recommend to blog daily. Or at a minimum 3 time a week. That is a Cool Tip For Running Your Blog.
Add new content to your blog regularly. In order to increase your site traffic and maintain it properly, you must always post new content. If new content appears infrequently, visitors won’t be motivated to come back to your blog. Ideally, you should post a minimum of once daily.
Plagiarism
Do not copy another person’s work. Plagiarism will ruin your credibility among your readers as well as your peers and can also result in legal action against you. You do not need any advanced degree to succeed in writing your blog, but you do need to be knowledgeable and passionate about your subject.
The exception is if you are writing about something of interest and the subject of your blog you can use excerpts from other blogs, articles or books as long as you get permission to use the information. Another way is to use the article and give “credit” to the author.
I will normally use the article to enhance my own blog, but will tell the reader part of my article was obtained from…. “Thanks to ….. for contributing to this blog post.
Go Daddy
When you make your blog, think about buying a domain name instead of putting your blog on a free site. Domain names are inexpensive and they will give your blog a more professional image. Choose something memorable and relative to the content.
I use Go Daddy for my domain name. There are other and all are good. I just happen to like Go Daddy.
Make your blog different to everything else that is out there. Readership will be higher for a blog with unique content. Using rare information is also good. Blog about hobbies or experiences that are unique. Give the intimate details of how a widget is constructed. You need to let the reader have a good reason to visit your blog.
Summery
Be authentic and real. Don’t offend your reader’s intelligence. Portray yourself as forthcoming, candid and giving. Do this all the time. Blog Posting is known to be the best way for a person to express their individuality. Strive for improvement not perfection. If you make a mistake, don’t torture yourself about it. You’re unique and nobody is you, but you.
Remember that individuals all around the world could see your blog. You don’t know who you could influence by having your voice heard out there. You have to keep that in mind; one person can change things, and that is why a blog is fun and can be important, because everyone’s voice can be heard.
