Having A Hard Time Writing A Blog? I Can Help!
By Bill Fletcher
Blogging offers plenty of entertainment value, as well as, some significant income potential. There are many blog posting platforms available for you to cut your teeth on. The ideas in this article can show you how to get your blog started, or make your current blog even better. Having A Hard Time Writing A Blog? I Can Help! with a few ideas.
Keywords, Ads, Images for your blog
When using keywords, ads, images, and plug-ins, in your blog, do not overdo it. If you do, your blog could get removed from the major search engines, negating all the hard work you’ve done so far. However, keyword, images and plug-ins are a much needed part of your blog. People like images and keywords will get you ranked. Remember to write for humans, not for search engines. That means writing in a smooth, natural way.
Before you began, you will need to purchase a domain name for your blog! I use GoDaddy. You will increase the professional appearance of your blog for the small fee, less than $10.00. It is often a good idea to purchase a domain name suitable to your blog. Start with your name. Why? As you grow your blog, you may change the format. If your format is to promote Network Marketing but you decide to change to Dog Training, your blog does not make sense. By using your name you can change the theme anytime. Remember you want to promote YOU.
Don’t know what to write about?
At sometime in your writing experience you will come to a point of, “I don’t know what to write about”. It happens even to the most experience writers. Don’t worry about. Believe it or not, you will soon develop more ideas than you can write about.
For example, did you watch a movie lately? Did you like it or not? Write about it. Your blog does not have to be the same thing all the time. Change it up. Write something humorous, entertaining, book review, product review, people review, “How To” ideas. The list is endless.
Here is a tip
I often get a writers block. What I do (when the mood hits me) is to write 5-6-7 or as many as 10 articles at one time. None of them are complete. The first article maybe on Network Market and how to make money with Network Marketing. This will cause me to write about, why Network Marketing is a great home based business. Then I will write how Network Marketing is a great business model. This may spark another article on the problem with Network marketing and how to overcome it.
As you can see, once you start writing, it will spark other ideas.
The same is true for writing about Affiliate Marketing, How to train a dog, How to garden, MLM Company reviews and so on. You see, it is really easy.
Now remember, I said I will write 5-6-7- or more blogs at a time, none of which are complete and ready to be published. When I have a writers block, I simply go back to any of the unfinished articles and complete one.
Make sure that your information is relevant and appealing. Keep in mind the goal of your communication, and stay away from composing an article about mundane, everyday things like chores. Unless your blogs are unique when writing about common topics, people won’t read it. Select a subject that is sure to appeal to a large group of people. Your goal in blog posting, after all, is to draw people to your site.
Be real. Don’t offend your reader’s intelligence. Instead, try to maintain a persona that is honest and transparent. Your blog is a revelation of who you really are. Don’t be a perfectionist; just strive for improving. If you make a mistake, don’t torture yourself about it. This will help to keep your blog unique and interesting, so that there is not another one just like it on the web.
Guest Posts
Allow others to post guest posts onto your blog. This is a great way to network with other bloggers. Good relationships can frequently work in your favor. You might need a favor in the future, and the blogger with whom you’ve been exchanging guest posts might be happy to help you.
Always keep up with the feedback that your blog receives, and respond back when it is appropriate. Never let yourself get overly emotional about this process. Regardless of the topic or your thoughts, there is always someone who will see it differently. Constructive criticism is a great way to see where a blog is lacking. Respond politely and diplomatically to any negative or destructive comments, and quickly move. Your other readers will appreciate your professionalism.
Let your readers comment and then respond to these comments. The feedback from you is appreciated by your readers and it encourages them to return to your blog. This helps create a good relationship with them. If you reply back to readers’ comments, then they are more likely to visit your blog again so that they can see what you said.
And by having comments, you will began to know what your readers want to see.
