Is there a way to succeed in your home based Business? Yes there is but there are a few basic things you must have or do in order to succeed. This post will outline a few suggestions. Any business has some basic tools. A lawn care business has tools to do the job. Auto repair has tools to repair automobiles and craft shop has tools to do business. Your Internet business, business opportunity or Network Marketing, MLM Business has some basic tools. The same idea for Blogging. If you want to make money blogging, again you need some basic tools.

Basic stuff. Noticed I said BOOKS. I have a whole wall full of books. Books like “Think and Grow Rich”,”Rich Dad Poor Dad”, “Jonathan Livingston Seagull”, Robert Schuler, Tony Robins and Zig Zigular are just a few. Books on MLM and
Motivational Book
Network Marketing, Sales Letters and Motivation.
Necessary? Yes, because you will have good days and bad days. These will help you overcome any to these ups and down as well as offer help and information on expanding your home based business opportunity.
I read 30 minutes a day from any of my 60 books.
Software…since I spend a great deal of time blogging and article writing, I use software programs to help me get ideas as well as research.
Finding the right KEYWORD is critical to ranking on the front page of Google. While the Google Keyword Planner is great for doing keyword research, I find I like Market Samurai for finding the “right” keyword as well as SEO ranking. Article Builder is another program I use. While this program is OKAY, it can become very generic. I use Article Builder for ideas.

First, I am not an account or do I know all the IRS rules about tax deductions for a home based business. Check with your accountant to help you with this part.
But currently, you are able to deduct your home office, utilities associate with the home office, all your supplies, equipment for your business, travel and misc expenses. Again check with your accountant for the latest IRS rules
To qualify for a tax write off, the equipment must be primarily used by the business and necessary for your business to run properly.
Focus
When running a home business, one of the most important strategies you can use is staying focused. There are many daily distractions that can tempt you to waste your valuable time but if you practice staying focused on your goals, you will find

that you will see results more quickly.
If you’re doing Facebook marketing, focus on Facebook. If you are an affiliate marketer, focus on affiliate marketing. If your desire is to build a Network Marketing Business or Business Opportunity, focus on getting new distributors and customers.
What is see many armature marketers do is to do too many things at a time. The problem is not being good and any given task. This leads to frustration, disappointment and eventually quitting. Be good at one thing before going on to another.
Against my advice, a good friend said he knew how to do Internet Marketing. He didn’t need advice on how to succeed in a home based business. After months of struggling, he finely admitted that he spread himself too thin. Today he is “focused”. His Internet business is taking off and he is making money online.

Mentioned earlier, you need some basic tools to get your business going. When you are starting a home business, the first thing you need to do is to sit down, and figure out how much it will cost to actually start it. It is important to be realistic with the costs of the business so that you can be sure that you will be able to afford it. There are some people who jump right into their business without creating a budget, and they end up failing.
If your business is MLM or Network Marketing, there will be a cost to join the MLM Company. If there are supplies, purchase them. If your business is Affiliate Marketing, there is a cost to get started. You may need a website or a blog platform.
Your business maybe built on email lists, this will require a good autoresponder. Earlier I mentioned books. Buy them it is an investment in your future.
Do not “skimp” but be aware of your budget. You may be able to get by with the basics today but plan on adding to your business later with the necessary tools, supplies or equipment as your business grows.
Blogging
Knowing how to market online is the key to a good income. When you write blog posts and other articles or participate in forums that discuss subjects that relate to your business, people will begin seeing you have a strong foundation and start relying on your expert opinions. This will bring customer to your business and increase your income.
It’s important to advertise your home based business. This will bring you more customers which means more money for you and your business. Free advertisement can be done by blogging about your products and/or using a social media site like Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc. However, Free advertising can be expensive. How can Free be expensive? Let me explain. Free takes time and time is money. The longer you promote with Free social media, the longer it will take to start making money. Do you use FREE advertising? Of course but spend a little money on paid advertising. Set a budget and stick to it. Increase the budget after you start to make money.
Put important information about your home business on the first page of your web site. You do not want it to be difficult for potential customers to find what they need to order from you. Talk about why your product is valuable and give a description of the item. Have a way for them to directly connect to your ordering information right from that page.
