Network Marketing Problems | Warning

You may have joined a Network Marketing Company or are currently looking at a network and your sponsor gave you a great presentation about the company, the products and the business opportunity.

You saw how easy it was to make money part-time and grow a network of people who together will grow.  This was possible and you may have seen others who have gone on to top producers in the company.  You may have seen them in luxury cars, big homes and travel pictures with people on many beaches of the world.

This was all possible simply by joining the business opportunity and following some basic advice of how it can be done.  You were told. “With just a little energy and time you can have the same thing.”

Your now excited and ready to conquer the world.  You stand up and proclaim to the world, “Here I come!.” You see dollars flying in and all your troubles are in the past.

Little execrated I know but not to far fetched.  I know because I been there.

Remember The Presentation?

Here is the question…Were they wrong?

NO they were not wrong, they just didn’t tell you the whole story.  Network Marketing is a great way to make money and enjoy all the promises in the presentation.

So if this is so promising why are people not making money with their business opportunity?

Why Can’t I make Money With My Business?

It’s really simple and doable with just a little understanding and advice.  What we need to do is get behind the presentation and see the whole story that many people don’t see at first.

When I joined a popular MLM Company, my sponsor told me to, “Go to your family and friends and tell them you are starting a new business and want their advice” he also said to “talk to everyone.” “Make a list of 100 people and call them.” “Invite them to an opportunity meeting and we will sponsor them for you.”  My sponsor also said to place business cards on windshields, in apartment buildings, bulletin boards, hand out in malls and anywhere there are people.

Does any of this sound familiar?

I did exactly what I was told.  I invited 10 people and only 2 showed..my sister and her friend.  A couple days later I invited 5 people and no one showed, my sponsor called it a training meeting. Several week went by and I had my first recruit.   I told him the same thing:  Invite 10 people and we (my sponsor and I) will sign them up FOR YOU…no one showed.  After about a month of doing this my recruit quit and I was back to zero.

Six months later, my sponsor quit.

Now let me ask you….how are you doing? Is this MLM business opportunity working for you?  Be honest. If you’re like me it didn’t work. So I went from one company to another.   I was looking for the “magic” “the golden ring” “the secret that the top producers were not telling me.”

I am here to tell you that there is no magic, no golden ring and no secret to becoming successful in Network Marketing.  I will go as far as to say, any of the hundreds of MLM Companies are excellent and you can make money with any of them as long as you know how to work the opportunity.

So What Is The Problem?

After several years in network marketing, it all comes down to 5 simple fixes which you can do in a matter of weeks.

Let’s review the 5 most common problems that was not given in the presentation:

  1. Lack of Qualified leads. Noticed I said Qualified Leads.
  2. Lack of Duplication or no clear plan and no professional coaching.
  3. Lack of Marketing Training.  How do you market your business opportunity to get quality people.
  4. Lack of not knowing what to do next.  When you run out of friends and family…now what?
  5. Lack of money. No funded proposal to keep you in business.

How Do You Solve The Number 1 issue…Lack Of Qualified Leads?

If you don’t solve the lack of Qualified Leads for your business opportunity your business is domed to fail.  There I’ve said it….“Domed To Fail.”

Remember leads are the lifeblood of your business.  And just any leads, but qualified leads!!

You have two options; “the 3 foot rule” or anyone within 3 feet is a prospect…or….identify your perfect prospect and present your business opportunity to someone who is interested and ready to join.

Which option do you prefer?

If you have chosen the “3 foot rule”, you have a long road ahead of you with a lot of frustration and anxieties.

Your next option is presenting your business to that one person who has been pre-qualified, willing to join, willing to work with you and willing to commit to building a long term business.

Option 1, a lot of NO’s, a lot of REJECTIONS, a lot of STRUGGLES and a business plagued with failures.

Option 2, a thriving business, growth, happy days, happy nights, sunny days at the beach, company recognition and all those things you saw in the presentation.

It’s Your Decision…Option 1 or Option 2? Your choice.

It’s just that simple.  Your decision!

That’s all it is and believe me Option 2 isn’t that difficult.

Now you’re saying, “if it’s that simple why are not more people not doing it?” And the answer is, “they are not coached property.”

You see I was told as many others, to make a list, contact the list, invite to a presentation, sponsor them, tell them to do the same.  Everyone is a prospect!!

Why doesn’t that work?  Over 90% of the people you talk to are not interested in your business opportunity. And what of the other 10%? They will sign up with you and 7 will quit.  OH some may do something here and there but soon the excitement will go away and so will they.  Only 3% of them will become successful.

Sad but true!

Let’s put it another way.  For every 100 people you make a presentation to 3 will stay with you and may build a business.

To solve the problem you need to find the 3% first and help those 3% find their 3%.  Believe me it is simpler than you can imagine.

Solve your first problem of finding qualified leads ready and willing to join your opportunity and your team will fall in line. While I can’t answer all your questions here, I do have a suggestions later.

All though the MLM company marketing systems are good and you can learn a lot and make money. The fact is they are not duplicable for your team. Your team is struggling to put people in the business, they haven’t figured out how to put all the pieces of the puzzle together, and talking to friends and family is not working for them either.  Your telling them just like your were told, “make a list including family and friends,” and “the 3 foot rule.”  They may not be as excited as you And So most people will not do this. You need a better option.

Most people that join a MLM Company are given the “party line” of – invite – make a presentation – sponsor and – repeat.  And when that does not happen, they quit. I was told to go to the book store and place business cards in side books.  Then stand out side the store and hand out business cards.  Did that work?  In fact I was told to leave by the manager.

One couple drove 90 miles every weekend for 3 months to Las Vegas and stood on the corner and handed out business cards.  Can you imagine how many of those cards were thrown on the street?

People will join your business not because of the business opportunity (only part of it) but because of you and what you have to offer. They wanted to learn how to build their business the right way and get new people into their business. They will look to you as the leader and do as you say. Teach them Attraction Marketing or better yet give them the tools to Attraction Marketing and you both will succeed.

Network Marketing is not complicated

It really is quite easy.  If you keep in mind that Failure Is Not An Option…Follow basic marketing strategies…use the tools the MLM Company has to offer…add tools to grow your knowledge. Knowledge is powerful and can not be taken away.
