Introduction
Starting a blog is not that complicated or expensive. Because of how simple starting a blog can be more people are looking at starting blogs every day.
However, if you’re like most people, a blog can be intimidating. Most of my beginning students may not know where to start. They think they have to have all the technological skill to get started and many find is can be confusing.
Now is the time to change all You Just Need To Do Is Just Do It! Lets put that to rest now! Getting started in blogging is not that confusing nor do you need all the technical skills. Just by getting started with the basic skills, you will gain the skills and cut through the so called “confusion”. All you need is some basic computer knowledge and a simple guide.
I have shown “How To Blog”, and “How To Blog For Money” along with my mentors to people of all ages. My youngest is 18 and my oldest is 72.

My name is Bill Fletcher, CEO of Planning-4-Success and President of WealthCreator100. I have a family of three girls and a supportive wife. I struggled for years on the Internet trying to

Becoming A Successful Blogger Comes Down To 3 Things
1. Setting up your blog the right way
I use WordPress as my blog platform. WordPress is the most popular blog platform and easy to use. There are two WordPress formats: WordPress.com and WordPress.org. I highly suggest you use WordPress.org. You can Google to find out more on each of these formats.
2. Choose a niche or a passion for your topic
What is a blog? At its heart, blogging is about sharing your knowledge with the world. Choosing a topic that you are passionate about makes the process of starting a successful blog so much easier.
3. Learn from other bloggers
As mentioned, I am not a “guru” and I am not ashamed to admit that I have made a ton of mistakes. Over time of just “doing it” I started getting the idea of how to blog successfully. I also use “mentors” and other bloggers for ideas and advice.
Time is not your enemy. You can benefit from my experience so that you don’t repeat these same mistakes I made.

Your First Question: “Why Do You Want A Blog?”
The Internet is exploding daily. More people than ever are online. This explosion in growth means more potential readers for your blog. To answer the question: “there is no better time than today to start your blog”.
Three things you can expect:
1. Income
Blogging is or can be quite lucrative if done correctly. The top bloggers earn quite a bit of money, but even a part-time blogger can expect to make a nice income if done correctly. My mentor Rob, earns over six figures in 3 different businesses.
2. Recognition
No, you probably won’t have paparazzi following you around because of your latest blog post. But a successful blog can gain you a ton of recognition in your respective field. Many bloggers are known as experts just because of their blogs.
3. Easy and Fun!
Aside from the more tangible benefits like building an income, blogging is a great way to share your ideas, offer advice, educate and entertain with like-minded people.
Now before I close this article, lets examine FREE BLOGS.
First.. nothing is FREE. Free is really not free. As with any business, and I hope you’re starting a business, there are some expenses. Blogging is no different. You will be spending some money….Shocked? Well don’t be.
If you are establishing a home business to make money and blogging is your marketing avenue, money will be spent. Fortunately, it won’t cost you your life savings. You will need a few basic tools, books and coaching. Don’t consider this as an expense, consider this as your education.
My first mistake was to get a Free blog theme. I soon found out that I couldn’t make changes or additions. It will cost you anywhere from $300 to $1,000 to get a good blog theme designed for you and well worth the cost.
Summery
Starting a blog doesn’t need to be expensive or complicated. Blogging can be started on a Shoe String Budget until you have the money to expand. In fact I have seen some ugly blogs making money.
Stay focused on your goals, identify you what your blog is about, blog daily and read your readers comments. Answer the three question presented at the beginning of this article.
