One of the best aspects of multi-level marketing (MLM) or Network Marketing is that it doesn’t have to be your only job. Many people are choosing to supplement their income through network marketing by offering products and building a large network of distributors.
Many network marketing distributors are earning a five figure income, even six and seven figure income with their home business. So if this is why you’re involved in network marketing, or even if you want to make it your full-time business, here are some great tips you can use to earn a good income. Network marketing is both easy and hard.
Hard if you don’t know the basic of marketing, and easy once you gain the skills necessary to 
create a good income. If you are asking people for help and advice on network marketing you will get all kinds of answers. What you need to be doing is rolling up your sleeve and get busy. But this is where most well meaning people get into trouble. Getting general advice is useful, but sometimes we just need help on the nitty-gritty of getting your business off the ground. The best advice I can give you is to “learn the basic, develop a plan, stay with the plan and never ever quit”. Another advice is that depending upon your sponsor, they may not know how to properly build a business. If this is the case, go upline until you find a successful person and follow their advice. Of course, tell your sponsor what you are doing so as not to upset anyone. Remember it is in your sponsors best interest that you succeed.
Since I am giving advice, here is another one: Learn from the pros. Get help from leaders. Find out if you are doing it wrong. If so, get the correction to get the wrong changed to the right. Here is help form the leaders
Put your network marketing material EVERYWHERE! At your local church, in their newsletter, in a community newsletter, on forums, on Craigslist, even at the local supermarket on their 
community cork board. The more eyes that see your promotional information, the more sign-ups you’re likely to get. Make sure you’re only posting it in places that are likely to get the right kind of people reading it, though. For example, a school probably isn’t the best place to post an ad.
Home Business
If you are running your network marketing business out of your home office, you may want to get business liability insurance! Typical home insurance doesn’t cover business equipment, so call your insurer and find out what your coverage is. If it’s insufficient, think about adding home business insurance to make sure you don’t lose everything in the case of a disaster.
Keeping a clean office is extremely important when you run your own home business, but having things out of sight will mean out of mind. Keep any papers that are important to your network marketing business on a cork board or magnetic surface near your computer so they will be handy whenever you need them.
When you have a home based business, you need to operate the business as a business. So many people treat the home business as a hobby. Remember you are the CEO of a million dollar business and as such you need to treat your business as a well run business.
Make Money
It may take money to make money with network marketing, so do not forget that you may need to invest in order to see a return on that investment. If you aren’t ready to put any money into building a successful marketing business, perhaps you should look elsewhere to find other money-making opportunities.
Now what do I mean as “investing in your business”. You need books, you need “How To Guides”, you need the tools to operate your business, you need coaching from top professionals and do what they do. You need to focus on your business. Investing in your business is not an expense, it is an investment in your learning. You will use this learning over the course of your business.

Improving Your Downline’s Profitability
The success of you MLM business depends on your ability to teach your downline’s profitability. The better your distributors preform, the better your business. Improving your downline’s profitability should one of the highest items on your to-do list. For example, if you create a graphic ad for your website that is doing great for you, give your downline access to it! Create a password-protected area on your site full of all the tools your colleagues will need to make money in your business. They will be more likely to stick around and make you money if you help them achieve their goals!
Give your distributors the advantage you have by having them coached by Internet professionals. This take the burden off of you and allows you more time to grow your business.
