Let me begin by saying, “there are no secrets to Network Marketing.”  This is important…”there’s NO Secrets To Network Marketing.”

There Are NO SECRETS To MLM or Network Marketing

If there was it would be called…WORK.

Most of us have or has had a job.  Now a job requires, in most cased 8 hours of WORK.  And we think nothing of putting in 8 hours of work so that we can get paid for our efforts.

However, most Network Marketers will only put 3-4 hours into building a potential million dollar business. Now don’t misunderstand me, many top Network Marketers began by putting in 3-4 hours in their business but they were consistent.

There is nothing wrong with this 3-4 hour business plan.  The problem of being Successful to being an Amateur is Consistency and Focus, the successful person is devoted to their business.

Three to four hours consistency is much better than three to four hours only when the mood hits.

If you work consistency and with focus for 12 months, there is no way you can fail with your Network Marketing business.

So again, Secrets Of Network Marketing….WORK, FOCUS and CONSISTENCY.

The Secrets Of Network Marketing

What are the secrets of network marketing?  Again, that’s just a title.  There are NO Secrets.  The real secret is to work and work your network marketing business as a Business.  Work is the secret.

Now let’s examine some of the so called secrets that top Network Marketers.

1.  Sponsor, Don’t Recruit

One of the benefits of MLM or Network Marketing is the ability to bring in new business builders (recruits) and the ability to profit from the sales they make in their business. While some see this as “using” others, the reality is that you’re being rewarded for helping others succeed.  One of the great benefits of Network Marketing is watching a new recruit grow and become independent.

But for them to succeed, you need to see your role not as racking up as many recruits as possible, but in being a leader and trainer. The focus then is on the success of those you help in the business, not on you. That means you need to take time to train them, answer questions, celebrate their successes, and be a support when things are tough.

2.  Listen and Sell the Solution

Many MLM Companies provide scripts to help you sell the product or service. While these can be helpful in teaching you about your product and dealing with objections, sales is all about being a solution to what a customer needs. By qualifying your contact first, and then listening to their needs, you can tailor your offer so that you’re the solution to their problem.

3.  Develop a System for Following Up

While you don’t want to pester and annoy anyone, in many cases, with good follow up plan, you maybe able to make the sale or recruit your prospect at a future time.

Sales is often about timing, and ‘NO’ in sales doesn’t always mean ‘NO.’ If someone tells you no, it could be timing, you haven’t given me enough information, you haven’t solve and issue or problem. However, just because they said no today, they might be interested in the future.

Ask if you can put them on your mailing or email list, or if you can call in several months to follow up. Many will give you their email or phone number just because they want to be nice. Even so, use your calendar or contact system to remind you when to call.

Important: Most people do not join on the first exposure, so fortune lies in the follow-up process.  You must help to advance the prospective recruits understanding of your business on each follow-up interaction.  Focus on building a stronger rapport and relationship along the way.

4.  Don’t Barrage Your Friends and Family

Nothing will annoy your family and cost you friendships more than constantly pestering them about your Network Marketing business. There’s nothing wrong with letting them know what you’re doing and seeing if they have an interest, but if the answer is “no,” let it go.

Many MLM Companies or your up-line will suggest making a list of 100+ people you know, and while that’s not wrong, you should consider that most successful MLM marketers have very few people from their original list of 100 people in their business. In most cases, friends and family who are in the business often come AFTER seeing the MLM business owner with success.

Ask the successful Network Marketer and he/she will tell you that they built their business from people they never knew or strangers.

5.  This Is A Business

Success in MLM comes from treating it like any other business, in which you focus on the people who want what you have to offer. That means deciding who the target market is for your products/services, as well as the business opportunity.

This is a Business.  Treat it as if you are the CEO of a Million Dollar Company.  Stand up, be proud that you are the Owner Of A Successful Million Dollar Business.  It just hasn’t happen yet but you are on your way.

6.  Have A Good Attitude

Attitude is both a blessing and a pit fall.  I share that one of the most important things is they energy you carry around with you. When is the last time you saw a top earner cross your company stage and they had a bad attitude? That would be never but here’s the trick…

People that aren’t successful think that when they BECOME a top earner they will have a good attitude and will finally be happy but that isn’t how it works. When you have a crappy negative attitude, you NEVER cross the finish line.

A good attitude will overcome.  A good attitude will succeed  One component of having a good attitude is to be coachable. Those who stop believing they know it all have the opening for NEW learning and NEW results in their life.

The pit fall if a bad attitude is obvious:  No one wants to be associated with a person who has a bad attitude.  This trait will simply Push People Way.

7.  Show More People (SMP)

Having a bad day? Show more people your business opportunity.  Not feeling good about your current results? Show more people your business opportunity. Spouse doesn’t believe in you? Show more people your business opportunity.

SMP, SMP, SMP, will pull you out of ANY slump, and is the ONLY way to actually change your results. Keep in mind it is your habits that created your results so change those habits and…SHOW MORE PEOPLE!

8.  Never Quit

This is one of my Network Marketing Tips for Guaranteed Success that NEEDS to be understood and embraced.

I fully believe that when it comes to how to do network marketing, there is NO FAILING failing, only learning.  There is only success or quitting.

But, a few things will happen to test you and see if you truly have what it takes…

Here are a few things you will more than likely experience that will attempt to knock you out of the game:

– Your upline may quit or jump to a new company
– Your upline may make some bonehead comment publicly about how to succeed
– You will more than likely NEVER feel like showing more people or slowing down
– You will compare yourself to others and draw the conclusion that maybe you just cannot do it
– You will question your sanity
– You will constantly evaluate how much time you have put in with how much you have made and it will most likely be laughable (what you are missing is you may be right around the corner from where you land that big leader that you get paid on for the rest of your life)

Yep, Network Marketing is not that easy but is also not that hard.

I truly mean this, IF you embrace these Network Marketing Tips for Guaranteed Success and truly honor them, you WILL get there.

I don’t know if it will take you one year, three years, five years but, what if it takes you 20 years, what is the alternative? Are you creating freedom with your other sources of income or are you trading dollars for hours? And remember, quitting never speeds the accomplishment of ANY goal.

When you help people get what they want, you will get what you want.

Copy successful strategies. Look to the most successful members of your organization for ideas. Try to establish the same business approach and mindset that led to their success. If you can replicate their success, you will see success. Not only will we learn from our mistakes, but also from the successes of others.

 

As long as you follow these tips you just read, you should be able to pull off a successful MLM campaign. If you make these tips yours, you can really make some nice income.

Your marketing strategy must focus on upholding the values and business qualities that have made other distributors’ leadership management so successful. Doing this causes you to act in a way that those people would also act or think. Ultimately, doing this leads to a higher success rate.
