Get Noticed
Twitter is an awesome way to get noticed. Will it happen overnight? Probably not. But if you Tweet often and with good information, people will follow you and Tweet you back.
Here is one mistake that I see armatures or spammers do all the time. They constantly “Pitch” their business or opportunity. When I say “Pitch” it’s not in a good way. If you are always trying to Sell, slow down. People don’t want to be sold…they do want to buy. The best way to get noticed and Stand Above The Crowd is to do the opposite of all the other Pitchy people. Offer suggestions, help, advice, tips and a chuckle now and then, people will not see you as a Pitchman or women.
It all starts with your profile, remember people like to do business with people they like, know, and trust. In your profile have a professional picture. Smile…it makes other wonder what your thinking about.
In your description tell people about YOU!! Leave your business out of it. People want to know about YOU!
In the place where you can add a website or blog make sure it goes to your Blog, your YouTube Channel, your Facebook Fan page, or your other social media accounts.

Be sure to Test It! I have made the mistake of not testing. Later when I went back to check and clicked on my link, it went to “OOPS..not available.” Always test, don’t make the same mistake.
Once people see that you are genuine, you’re a person they want to know and follow, you will find that some will share comments and Tweet You Back.
The advantage in this approach is that you get to know and understand your Twitter audience. If they like what they see in you, some will choose to opt into your offer.
One of the best ways to expand your business is to use Twitter as a way to promote your blog posts, Facebook, YouTube and other social media.
I often use quotes and images in Tweets. In my studies, people like quotes and they can relate to images that are congruent to what I am offering. Of course you want to have a link to where you want the followers to go next.

Sometimes my Blog is to entertain, to coach and get to know me better.

To help understand ME…I’m in network marketing or MLM. I like to help and offer advice to network marketers on how to establish or grow their business. My main focus on helping other and what I teach is Attraction Marketing. So in the following I will focus on network marketing. But the same advice can be used in any business. Just change MLM or other related comments to your business.
- Read, Comment, Retweet on 10 MLM or Network Marketing post per day
- Search and Follow 20 MLM leaders per day or Network Marketers
- Connect with 5-10 people per day
- Do this every day for 30 days
- When the timing is right ask the question “How are you doing on generating leads on line?”
- They may say “I don’t get leads” Reply, “I get leads and can show you how. Check out my website/Blog it helps me get leads and you might find some good information.”
- Or they might say, “Great, get leads all the time?” Reply “Terrific, would you like to generate more highly targeted leads?” They will most likely say, “Sure.” Again reply “Check out my Blog it helps me get targeted leads from quality people, not tire kickers. You may also see some good suggestions and information to help you in your business.”
Do this and you’ll be generating leads off Twitter like crazy. Noticed you have just read that there was not selling, pitching or pushing a business opportunity. All that was said was “Check out my website or Blog it helps me get leads and it’s helped train anyone interested in growing their home based business opportunity.”
You’ve been able to see the purpose of Twitter for growing your business and helping network marketers to get more leads by not selling.
What is the purpose of Twitter? Good source to get noticed. Great place to communicate with like minded people. To get quality leads and to grow your business…what ever your business may be.
Tie your Twitter marketing with Facebook, YouTube and other social media sites to see your network marketing business grow and make money. It is really easy.
