… it could be you’re not sure where to begin.

If you follow these 7 proven steps and allow yourself a little time to get the hang of this…”You Really Can Succeed with Facebook And Here’s How…”
1.) Create A Solid Foundation For Your Network Marketing Business
If you want to attract new prospects with Facebook the first step is to set up a solid foundation for your business.
This means mapping out a clear plan on the type of prospects you want to attract. The right prospect will join your business while the wrong prospect is just bring you down.
To begin with you’ll want to identify your customer avatar.
This is by far the most important step in creating the perfect marketing strategy. Without knowing who you want how are you going to go about attracting them??
To understand your avatar, you need to start by asking yourself:
- What is their profession?
- What keeps them up at night?
- What are their hobbies?
- What are their goals?
- What challenges do they face?
- What are their biggest issues?
- Is your avatar male or female?
- What is their age?
- Is your avatar married?
- Do they have children?
- What magazines, books do they read?
- What TV shows do they watch?
- Who do they follow to get advice and motivation from?
- What is your product?
- Will your product or business opportunity solve their pain or issues?
It took me almost 2 weeks to study and write my ideal Avatar. I know this person so well that I see them everyday in my mind.
Once you’ve determined who your customer avatar is you’ll know who you should attract on Facebook.
This leads us to step # 2 which is…
2.) Build A Facebook Fan Page
To attract new customers with Facebook you need to create a Facebook Fan Page.
You’ll use your Facebook Fan Page to build your audience, spread your message and attract your perfect avatar.
Your Facebook Fan page will be your “hub” on Facebook.
This is where you’ll connect with your audience so you can…
- Provide inspiration, motivation and tips
- Answer their questions
- Share your knowledge and expertise on your product or niche
- Help to solve their problems through the use of your product or service
- Build a relationship
- Become the “Go-to-person” for advice and suggestions
Your focus should be to become the “Go-to-person” within your marketing niche.
When you establish yourself as the “Go-to-person” you’re establishing yourself as an authority on that particular topic.
As the authority you’ll be able to provide value and help your audience or prospects solve their pain or struggles.
The next step is about how to build a loyal audience using Facebook.
If your not using Social Media you really should. Here is a FREE Guide on Social Media.
3.) How To Get Loyal Facebook Fans
Now that you’ve created your Facebook Fan Page it’s now time to get loyal fans!
There are several different ways to get fans. But one the fastest ways is to create a “Facebook Likes Campaign” by using your Facebook Ads account.
Depending on your niche you can get a targeted Facebook like for as little as $.03 – $.75 a fan. Be prepared to spend more per fan as you learn. This is normal until you learn how to get your loyal fans. Run your Likes Campaign for a few days to see how it is working. If your not getting the cost down and likes up…stop the campaign and create a new one.
The important part of this Likes Campaign is provided you’re targeting the right audience or your avatar.
(To help you target the right audience, make sure you go back and check out the Customer Avatar training I discussed in step 1)
Here’s an example:
Let’s say you want to get 20 fans a day to your page.
If it costs you $.50 a fan then you will need to spend $10.00 a day on your Facebook Likes Campaign to get those 20 fans a day.
The more targeted you are with your ad and the higher your click through rate of your ad the lower the cost you will pay per like. Again, this is a learning curve. Don’t get upset if your not meeting your target yet…I guarantee it will come with experience.
4.) Engage With Your Fans
Congratulations, now that you’re getting fans it’s time to start engaging with those fans.
The more engagement you have on your page, the more likely Facebook will show your posts organically in your audience’s newsfeed.
However, the less engaged your page is….the less likely Facebook will show your posts organically in the news feed.
Think of it this way… the news feed on Facebook is very competitive.
Instead of relying on Facebook to show your posts organically, you should consider boosting your posts that are receiving a lot of engagement.
Your Fan Page is your community and it’s up to you to keep them informed and engaged.
You want to draw them into the conversation that is taking place on your Fan Page.
There are several ways to this…
- Post articles within your niche that will help your audience (avatar)
- Provide inspiration to your audience (avatar)
- Motivate your audience to take action (avatar)
- Ask thought provoking questions (avatar)
Now you can see the importance of knowing your avatar and why I said the creating your ideal avatar is the most important step you need to do.
Often times, I see many Network Marketing Business owners rely upon organic reach way too much. Then they wonder why they’re not getting new prospects and they hoped they would get.
If your goal is to create offer awareness and attract new prospects with Facebook you need to incorporate paid advertising into your marketing strategy.
Take a realistic advertising budget. If you can only spend $5.00 set your budget at $5.00. If your budget is $10.00 set your budget at $10.00. Again, set a budget you can live with. If your new to Facebook advertising, it’s okay to set the $5.00 budget until you become more experience.
Quickly, grow your budget. To get your Network Marketing Business to grow the way you want and become profitable, it’s your advertising that will determine your growth.
I normally run three ads in my business…
- Likes Campaign – to get more Likes (fans) to my Fan page
- Engagement Ad – to increase the engagement on certain posts
- Clicks to Website Ad – used for lead generation
Ideally, you’ll want to spread your budget evenly across all three campaigns.
If you can only run one, run it, then go to another. However, if you can, spread your budget over all three.
All three types of ad are equally important for the growth of your Network Marketing Business.
Don’t make the mistake of allocating your entire budget to one type of ad campaign and neglect the others.
Balancing the budget out over the 3 different types of campaign will ensure you’re leveraging Facebook as effectively as possible.
Getting your ad campaigns up and running is only the first step when running ads on Facebook.
You also need to analyze your ads once they’ve been running for a few days and optimize them accordingly.
Take time to analyze what’s working and what’s not working with your audience and with your Facebook ads.
It makes no sense to continuously spend your ad budget on an audience that isn’t engaging, clicking, or buying.
When you analyze your ads to determine who is engaging, clicking, or buying you’ll not only maximize your results…
… you’ll also prevent wasting your ad budget on ineffective advertising.
When looking to optimize your ads the following demographics should be considered…
- Are they male or female?
- What is their age range?
- What country do they live in?
- What are their interests?
Again, this goes back to your avatar.
The best strategy is to analyze what’s working with your ads on a regular basis and tweak accordingly.

7.) Retarget Your Audience To Increase Conversions
Retargeting your audience is your opportunity to put paid offers in front of people who’ve visited your site.
When you place a pixel on every website you have you’re now able to retarget your visitors and/or buyers with appropriate offers.
Chances are you won’t make a sale from a person whose seeing you for the first time on Facebook.
By placing a pixel on a blog post and retargeting the visitors who read your post with a Facebook ad you’ll increase your chance of a sale.
Ask yourself this….
Would you prefer to buy from someone you’re familiar with or from someone you don’t know?
Most people feel more comfortable buying from someone they’re already familiar with.
In marketing, this is what we call the Know, Like, & Trust factor.
The same rule applies here.
By retargeting people who are already familiar with you’ll increase your ability to attract new customers with Facebook.
