People tend to follow leaders. Look around you. Who do you admire or look up to? Are they a leader? Most likely they have the traits of leadership. I know what you may be thinking now.
I’m not a leader!! Well I beg to differ with you. You see if you’re in a home based business you have already set yourself apart from many others. You have taken a step to be independent. You have taken the step to control your life. You have taken the step for financial independents.
You are already a leader. All you have to do now is to develop that leadership so others see it and follow you in your business opportunity.
Can it be done? Of course. So many others have done it so now it is your turn.

Talk to a leader in the industry and they will all say, that in the beginning it was hard. Getting that first sign-up was difficult. Keeping that first sign-up was difficult. However, after trial and error they had that “breakthrough” moment and all came together.
I can tell you that leaders are still learning. The only difference between a beginning Network Marketer and an advanced Network Marketer is the time they put in to learn their craft. Learning that the word NO to their business opportunity is not NO to them it’s NO because, “I don’t have enough information”, or “I not an interested in a home based business”, or any other excuse.

The top leaders simply move on to another lead but keep in contact with the person who turned them down. No, was not a big deal. In fact, leaders understand that they will receive more No’s than Yes’s. It’s just the way the program works.
So if you are a beginner or a leader in the world of Network Marketing, here’s a “5 Step Plan To Achieving Full-Time Income In Network Marketing.”
1. Plan – You must have a written plan. An airline pilot plans his route. With out a plan of where you are going you may end up somewhere else. A written plan is your guide to where you’re going, how to get there and when you have arrived.
The pilot plans the route to let’s say Chicago. Along the way the pilot may change the plan due to weather. The pilot simply alters the plan and ends up in Chicago…the goal. You can also alter your plan. You begin your journey with a written plan. Alter it as necessary and review to see if you’re still on course. This is Number 1 to your success.
2. Purpose – You must be crystal clear why you want a business. Are you looking for some extra income to put the kids in college? Take the family to a European vacation. Maybe you want to quit your job and work from home. What ever your reason, the Purpose will keep you on course.
Your purpose must be strong, a commitment to do what ever it take and must be written down. Top leaders have a Plan and a Purpose…Now you have a Plan and a Purpose.
3. Goals – Hundreds of articles have been written about Goals. Without a Goal you have Nothing. Is this the first step? I don’t think so.
You Plan first, Purpose second and then your Goal. In the example of a pilot…the airline pilot’s goal was Chicago. The plan was the route. Without a written Plan your goal is meaningless. I set a monthly goal to earn $500 dollars. The Plan will tell me how… the purpose tells me why. My next goal is 6 months then 1 year, 2 years, 3 years 4 years and 5 years. Every 6 months I review the previous 6 months to see if I’m on course. I may alter the Plan after the review but keep the Goal.
Now you have a Plan, Purpose and a Goal. You are well on your way to achieving unbelievable success in your work at home program. You should read your Goals daily.
4. Commitment – You must be 100% committed to your Plan. If you say, “I’ll give it a try to see where it goes”, DON’T EVEN DO IT. You’ve already set yourself up for failure. This may not be the right business for you. Never give Network Marketing or any other business opportunity a “TRY.” Try means, “I am not committed.”
A good friend was in network marketing. In the course of 5 years, he was in 4 different MLM Companies. He was never committed and of course he failed. He was always looking for the next best opportunity “to try”.
I can say this because he is a friend, He Was Looking For The Easy Way. Nothing worthwhile is easy. Be committed and I will virtually guarantee, you will succeed.
5. Action – You have a written Plan, Purpose and Goals now it’s time to take Action. This is the most difficult of all the steps. Why? In a word Action.
Remember the Plan you carefully laid out? That was easy. Anyone can write out a Plan. A pilot puts together a plan. The plan is your action steps. So far you haven’t done anything but to put a Plan together.
You have identified your Purpose. Quit my job, create extra income, kids to college, etc. It’s on paper next to your Plan.
You have your Goal. “I will make $500 dollars extra income.” Again this is on paper.
“I’m 100% Committed to my home business and to my MLM Company.” That is “Mind-Set.”
Now come Action. This is the number 1 Problem to a successful career in Network Marketing.
Taking Action, now means you have to do something. You have to take your Plan and implement it. You have to take the Purpose and put it into Action. You have to see your Goal as Action items. Now is where you have to be Committed. You must make a Daily Action Plan.
The number 1 problem with Daily Action is DISTRACTIONS. Distractions comes from Family, TV, phone, email, etc. Daily Action toward your business will be the life-blood to your success. Daily Action will produce results.

These 5 steps are crucial in building a successful part-time business to making a full-time income. Carefully building each step on each other will lay the foundation to a successful business.
This is not an overnight exercise. Each step, when done properly will take you a week to complete and a lifetime of fine-tuning. Making income in Networking Marketing is not hard and its not easy. But with a game Plan, Purpose, Goal, Commitment and Action the playing field is yours to command.
