If you believe you can’t then you can’t. If you believe you can then you CAN.
1. This is the most important step. You can change every single thing about your life IF you focus on where you want to go versus where you have been or where you are right now. If you don’t like your job, house, income, business or personal relationships, ALL of those things can be improved or totally changed if YOU are willing to change. The key there is…”if you are willing to change.” I find that when I talk to people who say they want to change their lifestyle for some it is just a wish. For others they truly want a lifestyle change and will do what ever it takes to achieve it.
Invest time and money in your education.
2. Time is a lost commodity. Everyone gets 24 hour. What you do in those 24 hours will determine your commitment. Example: Lets say you want $100,000 income per year. That’s only $12 per hour. Watch a 2 hour TV show and your your income is now $99,000. Do that every week and your income is reduced to less than $90,000. Now there is a flaw in the example. You need time to yourself and sleep. But you get the idea.
Be productive during your “work” time. A good friend spent 90 days working on his home business 10-12-13-14-15 hours a day. At the end of the 90 days he generated so many leads he could not follow-up with all of them. His Network Marketing business went from a few hundreds per month to thousands per month. Another acquaintance work a full-time job. He then came home to work his part-time business 7-8 hours per day and all weekend. He is very successful with his business. He quit his job and today he still only works his network marketing business part-time.
On the subject of Education, I see a lot of home business owners try to get by with spending no money. No money spent on your business can be very costly. We buy educational courses all the time and we hire coaches to help us get new results. We do this because learning from someone who has the kind of results we want makes our progress much faster and your time is precious. IF your life isn’t where you want it to be, how soon would you like to change it? Invest in courses or a coach to help you change it that much faster.
Stop caring what others think.
3. I was told I was crazy when I wanted to sell my practice. The practice was 50 + hours per week with no days off and no vacations. The income was good but my life was under the control of the practice. That was 2 short years ago. Our lifestyle is now better than I ever dreamed. I now work from home. I am with my family. I take a day off or a week off when I want. If I was to listen to other well meaning people I would still be working at my practice everyday away from the family. It’s okay to listen to others as long as they mean well.
Do what is in your heart and go for it with blinders on. Negative talk will only distract you from your goals.
Stop comparing yourself to others.
4. I did this a lot of times and I will say that is very difficult. In our network marketing career, we see very successful people. We hear stories about how they went from a few dollars to hundreds even thousands of dollars in a short period of time. Yet try as you might you just can’t seem to do the same as “them.” Don’t compare yourself to “them.” Use “them” as mentors even coaches, but don’t compare. YES, there will be people that change their life bigger and faster than you…so what? You don’t know their journey and most of the time the truth is they have just simply been on their journey for longer so why compare? The point is to make progress on a daily basis not attempt to progress further than anyone else each day.
Celebrate your wins.
5. This is a MUST. I didn’t do this a soon “burn” myself out as well as my family. When I learned to Celebrate, my business changed and my family came on board with me. Make that dreaded phone call…celebrate. Write that blog post…celebrate. Do a Facebook ad…celebrate. Celebrate little success and you will soon see BIG success. I often hear of someone who recruited their first lead and complain on how long it took them. Someone moaned about not getting 10 leads like so-in-so did.
If your in a network marketing business, the first recruit, the first lead or the first $100 check ARE THE HARDEST to generate! It is much easier to go from $100 to $1,000 a month than it is to go from 0 to $1,000.
Celebrate your win! You did it! You’ve done something a lot of others have not done. You worked hard, where others just talked about it. Your goal now is to continue that momentum and go create another lead and celebrate. Teach someone else how to get their first lead and celebrate. Learn something new and celebrate.
There you have it…5 Steps On How To Create An Incredible Lifestyle. Is it easy…Yes and No. Nothing in life come easy. Stay focused, find a mentor, dedicate yourself to success and keep learning.
