Introduction

In this article I’ll discuss the topic of how to succeed in network marketing using some basic ideas but powerful when put to use.

Success in any business is difficult.  Success in network market is probably more difficult because most people approach the business not as a business but as a way to make money part-time.

Making money part-time is okay but with that part-time mentally many will fail.

To really have success in network marketing, you need to think of this as a “Real Business.”  A real business such as owning and operating a mom and pop store, a franchise, a small business or a large corporation.

Because in reality, you have at your finger tips all of those with the right mentally.

Network Marketing Success And Your Mentally

Success in any business requires work and dedication.  Success requires not only work and dedication it requires a positive state of mind.

How To Make Money

When you were give the opportunity to join a MLM or Network Marketing company, you were most likely given a presentation on the products and the income opportunity.

The presenter or sponsor most likely was was part-time. He or she may have showed you the product line, how to use the products, the benefits of the product, better than store bought products and the opportunity.

The focus of the presentation was the Business Opportunity.  How to make money by just inviting a few friends and.or family to see what you have.

Sound Familiar?

The problem is this was more than likely done at you house, coffee shop or over lunch.  The presenter, said you can make good money part-time possibly equalling your full-time job.

There it is.  The seed was planted.  This is a good part-time business.  Your mind was programed with part-time, home based business, business opportunity.

I’m going to restate what I said above…you need to think of this as a “Real Business.”

If you intend to sponsor people into your new business you want to sponsor business minded people.

Business Minded People

Your sponsor told you to make a list of people, family and friends, then invite them to see your business opportunity.

WRONG!

If you do this, as the sponsor said, think of this as TRAINING.

Family and friends will tell you “NO” and to stay with your job.  Your wasting time, MLM never works and other negative comments.

Approach them as, “This a business I’m involved with and I’m practicing on you, I’m not asking for opinion or to get you involved.  I’m practicing.”

If comments come up, “I’m practicing!”

Your business is going to be built by people you don’t know…strangers.

Who are you looking for?

Your looking for Business Minded People.

Please excuse the following.  Your not looking for a homeless person, welfare people, school drop-outs, store clerks (sorry), teen agers, party only people.

You are not going to throw opportunity flyers everywhere, window stickers, notes on a billboard or walk around and trying to recruit everyone within 3 feet of you.

Your looking for a person who maybe already successful but looking to add to their income.  Your looking for the extroverted person who sees the business as a business.

They see you as a business person who is a professional not as a recruiter.

Your looking for an educated mom whose kids are in school looking for something to do while the kids and husband are away at school and a job.

Your looking for the husband or dad who is working but may be interested in operating a business.

You want Positive People, Active People, Professional People, People with a Good Outlook on Life.

Keep A Positive Attitude

Keep a positive attitude.

It is easy to get down when things do not go the way they should, but just keep moving along. There will be things that do not go right, but look at them as learning experiences for future successes. If you use your setbacks as a way to learn.

Learning is a positive thing.  Expect No’s a lot of No’s.

You future in network marketing is the No’s.

TRUE STORY.

I met Zig Ziglar years ago.  He said something that change my way of thinking:

“Instead of setting a goal of getting 10 Yes’s today.  Set a goal of getting 10 No’s today.  If you get a Yes, that doesn’t count.  You want 10 NO’S.”

What a change.  The pressure was off.  I wanted people to say no to my new business.

This Is A Business

If you think of this as a business and not a hobby you almost there.

As a professional, and your are a professional this is a business with a product to offer, just like a store with products.

As a business professional, your looking at a hardworking positive team, just like a store is looking for positive employees.

This is a business that requires dedication, focus, work and hours.

The business will not see a profit over night.  It may take months or years to see a good positive cash flow.  However long it takes, stay with it, work and never think of quitting.

You see, when you have a business….Quitting Is Never An Option.

Success Is A Team Effort

Your success ultimately rests in the hands of your professional recruits and customers.

The decisions they make about your program dictate their participation and your profit. You need to develop your talents for guiding them, help when required, being a coach and trainer.

Network marketing is ultimately a social skill; a persuasive marketer is a successful marketer.

A significant amount of your time involved with network marketing will be invested in marketing either the product to attract new customers or a business to attract producers.

One way to quickly reach a wide audience is to use videos. Videos are far more effective for getting higher numbers than marketing directly in person. Reserve your personal marketing visits only to potential high profile producers or high volume buyers.

If you have a team working with you, you should train them to be professional. Just like you, teach them what to look for in inviting someone into your (their) business.

Do not just throw them out and expect a hand full of money in return. Teach them proper marketing skills and make sure they understand business policies before letting them represent you out in the field.

Teach your business partner that not everyone is cut out for this type of business.

This is a team with like minded intentions to become successful in this business.

Home Business

If you are running your network marketing business out of your home office, keep a clean office.  Keep good records of your business activities for tax purpose.

Have thing handy to answer questions.  Important notes, product notes, notes to keep you up to date on the business so that you can pass them onto your team.

Finally

Network marketing isn’t at the top of everyone’s list of potentially successful business ideas, but it has made many people rich.

Locate a top producer in the business and follow them, learn from them. teach your team to do the same.

Network Marketing IS A BUSINESS.  A real business with professional people who want something more in life.

The positive side of Network Marketing is the ability to start part-time and go full-time wen you want or stay part-time, you choice.

You have the ability to help others.  Ability to solve problems.  Ability to grow a team that will become great friends and partners

If you can follow the advice you have just read here, you can begin to carve out your own niche in this lucrative business and work to build a solid, expanding network of like minded individuals to propel you and them to wealth.
